Blocks

Author rules for composed blocks and control which ones AI tools can see.
PreviousNext

Blocks are larger, composed sections built from components, such as a hero, a pricing table, or a sign-in form. They follow the same model as components, so once you know one you know the other.

What you get

The block list is the standard block set of the component library your AI tools build with.

Rule groups

Every block has its own rule groups. Each rule carries Guidance (Do, Don't, Caution, or Info) and Importance (Required, Recommended, or Optional). Author rules in the composer, and restore anything you delete from Trash. AI Enhance rewrites a rough rule into a precise one.

Variants

A block can have variants, such as a hero with and without an image. Each variant is its own entry with a name, an on/off switch, a lock, and rules, so you can switch on the variants you want AI tools to reach for and switch off the ones you do not.

Switch a block on or off

Every block and variant carries an on/off switch. When it is on, the block, its rules, and its switched-on variants are part of what connected AI tools receive over MCP. Switch it off and it is held back from delivery while you keep authoring, without deleting anything.

Beside the switch sits a lock. A locked entry cannot be switched, reordered, or moved to Trash until it is unlocked, and the lock says who set it: you, the template, or the system. See Locks. Locks are separate from project-level hiding, which lives on the project as an override. See Overrides.

Open a block

Go to your brand library and select the block you want to work on.

Author its rules

Add or edit rule groups, then set Guidance and Importance on each rule.

Switch variants on or off

For each variant, use its switch to include it or hold it back.

Switch it on

Make sure the block's own switch is on. Connected tools pick it up the next time they read your brand over MCP.

Bring your brand to every AI tool

Set your rules once and use them in every AI tool you work in.
