These terms are an agreement between you and AHO Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia and trading as UI Rules. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
You need an account to use UI Rules. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by people you invite to your organization.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
The rules, styles, tokens, and project data you create in UI Rules belong to you. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us permission to store, copy, and transmit your content only so far as we need to in order to run the service for you, which includes serving it to the AI tools you choose to connect. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models. You can export it at any time.
You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you put into UI Rules, including any brand material that belongs to someone else.
The service itself, our software, our name and branding, and the curated rules we supply as a starting point remain ours. You may use the curated rules in your own work. You may not repackage or resell them as a rule set of your own.
UI Rules is designed to connect to third-party AI tools. Those tools are run by other companies under their own terms, and we do not control what they do with what they receive. Connecting a tool is your decision, and we are not responsible for its output or its handling of your data once it has it.
We also cannot guarantee that a connected tool will follow your rules. UI Rules supplies the rules; whether a given tool applies them is up to that tool.
UI Rules has a free Starter plan and paid Pro and Team plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in US dollars. Prices shown on the pricing page include tax.
Pro includes a 14-day free trial with no card required. If you do not subscribe by the end of the trial, the account returns to the Starter plan. Team has no trial.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next payment and your plan continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Payments are handled by Polar. If we change our prices we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email, and the new price applies from your next billing period.
For questions about a charge or a refund, contact us at info@uirules.com. Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund you have under consumer law.
Each plan carries a monthly usage allowance, described on the pricing page. If you reach it, requests pause until your allowance resets at the start of the next calendar month (UTC) or you move to a larger plan. We will not bill you for going over without asking you first.
You agree not to:
You can stop using UI Rules and delete your account whenever you like. See the privacy policy for what deletion covers.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Except where the breach is serious or we are required to act immediately, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of anything you have paid.
We work to keep UI Rules running and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may need to take it down for maintenance, and we will give notice where we reasonably can.
Our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded, and nothing here tries to. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or lost data beyond that, and we are not liable for what a connected AI tool produces or does.
UI Rules is a tool for guiding output, not a guarantee of compliance. It does not replace your own review of what your AI tools generate, including for accessibility.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use UI Rules after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not take away rights you have under the law where you live.
