Making changes
When you send a request, the Agent turns it into one or more proposals. Each proposal is a single, concrete change with its own scope and preview, so you can accept the ones you want and skip the rest.
What the Agent proposes
A request can produce any mix of the following proposals:
- Token changes, such as setting a radius to zero or updating a color value.
- Rule changes, such as adding a new guideline or rewriting an existing one.
- Visibility changes, such as hiding a block or variant from AI tools.
- Logo and placement changes, such as uploading a logo and drafting a rule for where it belongs.
One request can combine several of these. Asking the Agent to use the branding from a website URL, for example, can return token changes for color and typography alongside rule changes that explain how to apply them.
Scope: brand-wide or one project
Every proposal shows its scope so you know how far the change reaches:
- Brand-wide changes update the brand itself. Because the brand is the source of truth and is inherited by every project, a brand-wide change reaches every connected app at once.
- One project changes apply as an override on a single connected app. The brand stays untouched, and only that project serves the override.
Project overrides are a Pro feature. If your plan does not include overrides, the Agent proposes brand-wide changes instead. See Plans for what each plan includes.
Preview before you apply
No proposal is applied automatically. Each one previews first, showing what will change and the scope it will change at, so you can confirm it is what you want.
Describe the change
Open the Agent panel and describe the outcome you want.
Review each proposal
The Agent returns one or more proposals. Read each one and check its scope badge to see whether it is brand-wide or limited to one project.
Preview the change
Open a proposal's preview to see the exact token, rule, visibility, or logo change before it is applied.
Approve or reject
Approve the proposals you want and Reject the rest. Approved changes reach your connected AI tools over MCP, and rejected proposals leave the brand and projects as they were.
After you apply
Applied changes take effect on the scope shown in the proposal. Brand-wide changes update the brand for every project, and project-scoped changes appear as an override on that connected app. The Agent edits rules and tokens; it does not delete them. If you delete something yourself afterwards, it moves to Trash and can be restored.
