Overview

The Agent is an AI panel that edits a brand from a plain-language request. Instead of opening each token, rule, and visibility toggle yourself, you describe the outcome you want and the Agent proposes the changes that get you there. You review each proposal before anything is applied.

What the panel does#

The panel opens as UI Rules Agent, with a note that every change to the brand or project previews with its scope before it applies. You describe the change in your own words, and the Agent reads the brand's current styles, rules, library, and project setup to work out what to adjust.

The Agent can propose changes to:

• Tokens, such as color, radius, typography, or spacing values.
• Rules, such as a new guideline or an edit to an existing one.
• Visibility, such as hiding a component, block, or variant from one project.
• Logo and placement, such as uploading a logo and drafting a rule for where it can be used.

Because the Agent works on the brand and its projects directly, the changes it proposes flow to your connected AI tools over MCP once you apply them.

Suggested prompts#

When the panel is empty, the Agent offers a few starting points in two groups, so you can see that it answers questions as well as making changes. Use one as written or write your own.

Ask about your system

• What is my primary color value?
• Which rules apply to buttons?

Edit rules and styles

• Make all my UI elements have square corners.
• Add a rule that buttons must use full border radius.

These are examples, not the limit. Any change you could make by hand in Styles, Library, or Rules is something you can ask the Agent to draft for you, and you can give it a website URL to scan for its styles.

How requests turn into changes#
