Work across brands and projects without switching MCP connections. Choose a scope
that covers your work, then tell your agent which brand or project to use.

- **Organization scope:** Work across its brands and projects.
- **Brand scope:** Work across projects within one brand.
- **Project scope:** Focus on one project.
- **Whole-account connections:** Work across your organizations.
- **Redesigned Connect panel:** Follow setup instructions for your AI tool.
- **Account sign-in:** Connect through standard OAuth using your UI Rules account.
- **Read-only option:** Let tools reference your rules and design tokens without
  changing them.

Connections use your existing permissions. Your agent can move between brands and
projects within the scope you choose.

### Reconnect your AI tools

**All existing MCP connections need to be reconnected.** API keys no longer work
for MCP connections. Remove UI Rules from each AI tool, then add it again:

1. In UI Rules, click **Connect** in the top bar.
2. Choose your tool (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma Make, Lovable and others) and
   follow its steps.
3. Sign in to UI Rules when your tool asks.

Repeat this for each AI tool you use, including tools previously connected through
a sign-in screen.
